Q: Can a licensed CA CCW holder carry at Qualcomm Stadium (home of the San Diego Chargers)?
While there is no law against carrying in a private establishment, as of 8/2007 members report a no weapons policy and very poor "pat down" searches at the entrance.

FYI - for next time it comes up.
They patted everyone down as I was going in. I half-joked with the security guy when he asked me, "what's that" as he was feeling my glasses case in my coat pocket. I said, " I don't know for sure but it's not my pistol. I left that in the car". He smiled and said, "thank you" and let me go on to the next layer of security. That layer was searching bags.
The pat down was not very thorough but probably sufficient to be enough of a deterrent to stop most people from going in armed that have no business being armed in the first place which I'm sure is exactly what they are trying to accomplish.
