For example 5-7 ammo is $21.99 per 50 at Ammo Bros, more at other stores. Plus tax and the total for 250 rounds comes to $118.19 locally. The same ammo costs me $114.75 on-line. The difference is that I have to wait for them to arrive, but I still have a couple hundred rounds from before.
Midway has a 4th of July special going on until 7/7/08. Same ammo orders as Natchez will cost $104 and change from Midway.

Big-5 has decent prices depending on what week you are purchasing. But I remember a few years ago my local store was selling boxes of Estate 12 guage shells for $1.97, I was like a fat kid in a fudge factory.

Went to Wal-Mart this monring, bought 500 rounds for $109 out the door. I bought 3-100rd boxes of 9mm at $18.48/box, 2-100rd boxes of .40 at $26.78. The 9 is a hell of a deal, the .40 is pretty good but not unbelievable. This is Winchester White Box, they also had UMC 9mm, 250rds for $48 or so. I may just have to start visiting Wal-Mart a little more often!

Same here. And I find good deals at Natchez, too, at least for rifle ammo.
