Default Any FFL's here?

Just wondering if anyone local to me can handle a transfer for me?
I am in Upland (and just about never leave) so I would like someone close, or someone who passes through here often.

PM me, or post here.

Thanks,
John

I know a great FFL but he's down in OC. Your other choice is to call Dan as he has an FFL that works out of his shop in Yucaipa.

Really hoping for someone closer. There are several pawns around, but I don't much like the idea of these guys holding one for me. Turners isn't too far away...but they want $$$ for the transfer.

The transaction through the FFL dealer would need to take place at their place of business listed on their license. You would have to go to them for the transaction. They cannot come to you. Almost all FFL dealers would charge you for the transfer, plus DROS. Turner's might be your best bet in Upland, if you don't want to go through a pawn shop.

Yeah, Turners gets $30, I thought that seemed higher than I remember....but then again, that was a few years ago. I don't expect it to be free, but every dollar counts these days.

Does Ade's charge the same $45 for PPT verse ordering a gun from another FFL to them?

I think Turners is $30 for PPT but much more for a FFL transfer. IE buying somehting onlline and having it shipped to them.

I'm glad someone mentioned this. It will be for an online purchase...guess I better call them and find out the real price.

Ades...$75 total for the same thing. But with the gas involved...not worth the drive.

Actually Ades is $70. $45 plus $25 DROS fee.

Again worth the drive?

I'm going to move this to Vendors, which seems a better fit for this thread.

Bright Spot Pawn Shop in Pedley will do it for $50 total. Quite a few LE go there, so I would say they're reputable. I did one through them from a guy on another forum, no problems.
