Most likely Florida. They have a live shooting requirement that Utah does not.

Nevada requires a live shooting requirement and they stated the standards have to be at least as high as their own, for them to honor.

Cool The PPT LAW

If anyone bothered to read the law, the LAW says a gunstore shall perform a PPT. They cannot refuse.
The LAW says they can only charge you $10 + DROS $25=$35
(PC Sections 12076, 12082, and 12806)
Now we all know how long the paperwork takes (at least an hour total, plus having to store the paperwork forever) so $20/30 does not seem unreasonable.
If someone tried to charge me $90, I'd counter with the $10 the LAW says they can charge and threaten to call DOJ.

Yes, the lock requirement is a PITA. The feds and the state cannot seem to get together. As it stands right now the Feds take precident and a lock must be sold with each firearm. They said that the state has no way to verify that the person actually owned the safe they stated they owned.

Your are correct on the DROS fee. What you forgot to factor in is the service charge. They can charge anything they want. The DOJ can't do anything about. Call like you said.

"Shall perform" That also means the dealer can set up cetain times only. One dealer states his PPT time is 1:00 AM to 2:00 AM. He hasen't done one in over a year.

Most of us here are famalier with the law. We are also Famalier with the ways the get around the PPT law.

For the record I'm a type 1 & 7 and hold a NFA also.
