Guess I bought my 550B just in time. Now it's just a matter of setting it up and learning how to use it.
I still reload my pistol ammo on my old Lee Turret Press, semi progressive. For my long guns, I still use the old reliable Rock Chucker, single stage. You guys have all them fang-dangled electronic digital reloaders that serves you coffee as you reload.

Now you're talking! Just tell your wife you MUST build a special room for your gunsmithing work, I bet she will understand.

We might have to think/talk this arrangement over! In the mean time start collecting your 45 ACP brass!

I do need to do an inventory. I have to admit not sure if I am over 10,000 rounds of 45ACP. I am somewhere between 1 and 10,000 rounds.

Times have changed a bit since Sam Walton was steering the ship. As a Hunter Safety Instructor, I am on mailing lists for certain resources. Did you know that it's still in WalMarts Charter, as written by Sam Walton, that all WalMarts shall provide at no charge, a room to conduct Hunter Safety Classes to any certified instructor who so requests use of WalMarts resources. I have a venue that I'm satisfied with for teaching. But I wonder what any WalMart manager would do if I presented him a copy of this MOU, and requested free classroom space? I really doubt if many of them even know of this obligatory offer.

Oh I think a bunch of instructors need to get together and start requesting!

BTW, as of yesterday, same price. Bad news, after I bought 10 cases, they have 1 unopened case and about 1 1/2 open cases remaining.

Just a warning to anyone buying ammo at Walmart right now. Make sure the price on the box is what you are charge. I went there on the 2nd, and purchased two of the UMC 250 round boxes in .45. It had a price tag on it of $65.76 which made it cheaper than the Winchester 100 round value packs. I was buying other stuff, so I didn't pay a lot of attention when it was rung up. A couple of days ago I looked at my receipt and noticed that they'd charged me $78.22/box. I assume that is the new price and the price tag had the old price on it.

I went back today and they refunded the difference, so it's cool. But I just wanted to let everyone know to double check. With the price increases of late, it could happen again.

Big 5 and Walmart are in the same shopping complex where I live. Yesterday Big 5 ran a coupon add for Remington 9 mm UMC 250 round megapacks for a sale price of $54.00. I clipped the add. Had to go to Walmart first anyway, so I stopped by the ammo counter. The same exact magapack was $42.86, and not on sale. I bought a megapack, and a megapack of .45 at $72.88. I took the receipt over to show the manager at Big 5. She just shrugged, and said Big 5 can't compete with Walmart's bulk purchases. I asked if Big 5 did price matching. She said Big 5 would not by corporate policy. As a side note: none of the individual boxes of ammo were labeled with price stickers at Walmart.
