There is a shortage of 223 in this country. Nobody is making value packs.

Just an FYI - .223 is a WONDERFUL round to reload. Easy, relatively cheap. Accuracy for most tac type guns is not QUITE as necessary as something like a .308. In these times of war, this round alone would be a great reason to take up loading. With even the cheapest Dillon setup, you can do 300-500 rounds per hour.

Do you have to build a special room to do this kind of work/hobby?

No, in fact, they have a portable stand for some of their presses that would allow you to set the press up and then just put it in the closet when you are done.

Check out these guys:
Dillon Reloading Machines

There is a TON of info on their site, and a lot of other places on the web. It's a little like getting started in fly-tying (or any other cool hobby). Not cheap to start it up, but worth while in the long run!

I was checking out your comment on Dillion reloading and the RL 550B looks like it might do the trick for my 223 270 25 380 and 9mm for $395.95. What do you say, thanks!!!

It's a GREAT machine. Reloading equipment is like everything else in guns. Buy more than what you think you will need, bigger than what you think you will need and you will probably STILL want the next size up within the year. lol

I actually have a spreadsheet listing my dies now just so i know what I have. :-)

Good luck to you!!!

Just got back from Orange Wally World and the Blazer Brass price increase has hit there as of today probably before today. BB 45ACP went from $11.97 to $14.87 for a 50ct, give or take a cent or two.

Bottom line WWB 100 packs at $28.98 are now the best "value".

Bought 3 cases of it. 1,500 rounds.

I anticipate WWB being the high price leader before long. So go buy it up if possible. I would not be surprised to see 45 ACP over $40 for 100 by year end.

I wish I had room at my place to set up. That is the only thing holding me back.

I have PLENTY of room at my shop. I am always there if you want some space.

I hope the 1500 rounds put you to 10,000 total

I found similar price increases at Wal*Mart in Fresno today. BB .45, $14.87 for 50 rnds, and BB .40 S&W is now where .45 used to be plus a buck, $12.97 for 50 rnds. Glad I made enough prior purchases to have a small stockpile.

Guess I bought my 550B just in time. Now it's just a matter of setting it up and learning how to use it.
