River City Gun Exchange - Sacramento

I just wanted to tell you about my favorite gun store here in the Sacramento Area. It's called RCC or River City Gun Exchange, and they probably have one of the largest quality gun selections for a smaller sized store in the whole area. I've had friends come out from the Bay area to buy their guns here. Here is their website: Index It's not much to look at, but if you go to the actual store, you will be impressed. Don is the owner and has been at this location for as long as I can remember. RCC has an ad in the Sacramento Bee every Thursday for certain guns and ammo in the sports page. They also have a full line-up of California legal Assault rifles with the "Bullet Button" as well as pretty much anything else you could possibly want for defense.

Also, one of my favorite things that they have are a big selection of Benchmade knives as well as a few other quality ones.

This is a great little store and you should check it out if you get the chance.

I've been there a lot over the years, it is indeed a good store. I will say, however, that i've had a lot of trouble getting help. Some of the guys don't have the best customer service skills. Don, though, is a great guy. They are usually busy - and the reason is they have a GREAT selection. Still, their customer service is MUCH better than Wild Sports.

My favorite (though their selection isn't great) is Rancho Cordova guns. Jerry is a great guy and so are the others. Customer service is HIGH on the list. They will order anything, and have had a lot of estate sale stuff. I've bought several used lever guns, a couple of handguns and a couple of shotties.


That said, other than a few used, I have a guy down south that I get all my new stuff from. :-)
