Should this place reopen I would not recommend you do business with them. I can not get a phone call, email, or any other communication attempt returned.

If you know the owners or if the owner is still on the sight please feel free to PM me.
You can file a complaint with the ATF & DOJ.

I think the owner of this store is in some hot water with the DOJ. It wouldn't surprise me if they have been shut down by the state. I posted in another thread recently that I received a home visit from some DOJ task force officers who were requesting to inspect a firearm that I purchased from Pro Defense. Evidently the officers had reason to believe they were selling some illegal stuff and wanted to make sure the gun I purchased wasn't one of the guns possessing illegal parts. It was pretty shocking when they came to my door.

Default Pro Defensive Firearms in Redlands

If you made a purchase with these unethical bozos (Steve Smith, Bradon Dull) call the Redlands Police Dept. I called and understand that somebody is handling this case (as in already and open issue.)

I wanted to make one correction on the other name of the 2 guys working at Pro Defensive Firearms in Redlands. Steve Smith and Brendon Dull. If you worked with these guys be warned you will certainly need to do what you can to recover your property/money at this point.

There is an officer (Corporal McMean?) working on this case. He can be contacted at (909) 798-7681. He is aware of the case and has already returned some guns to their proper owners.

Also, ATF agent Tom Shindeski (951-320-7598) is investigating Steve and told my boss to call San Bernardino sheriff, Redlands PD and the County District Attorney's office.

I had spoke to Cpl Mcmean who basicly told me he wasn't going to do anything for me and to file small claims against him which I have been trying to do so for about a month but have been unable to find him. So if anyone finds him please let me know as well! I also gave him $1050 for a firearm I never received.

Default Pro Defensive Firearms in Redlands

I recently spoke with Rich Job from the CA DOJ you can probably speak with him and may possibly be able to get something done there. Shortly after speaking to him I actually got a call from Steve's wife and she said that he would contact me. That was on Saturday the 26th now its the 30th and nothing yet.

This will never happen. I waited for almost 90 days for a build project, kept getting excuses when I stopped in... finally got fed up and decided these guys were flakes. This outfit never returns calls. Good luck. ... For me it's established, KNOWN reputable businesses from here on out.

If you're ever in Temecula California, the guys at Faith Armory are outstanding. It's a new/small shop, but they are honest, excellent pricing and my "home" store from here on out. They are gaining a strong following locally. The owner's name is Nate.

I think I tracked down an email address for Steve. I believe it might be: srs8802@yahoo.com. Good luck. He took from Peter to pay Paul and everyone - but him - got screwed.

thanks, yea this guy is no different from that Madoff guy who took everyone's money... but yet Redlands PD says, well he hasn't commited a crime.. I'm like wtf, how do you figure? He took orders from people with no intentions of filling the orders and closed down, you figure if he took $1,000 from about 200 people which is probably the case, that's $200,000 then files bankruptcy. If he's not guilty of a crime then hell free Madoff and then he can come set up shop in Redlands where criminals are apparently exempt from the law. I will definatly not stop till justice is served! That's for damn sure, yea it's only $1,000 but to me it's the principal! So steve, if you're out there buddy, you should do what's best and return peoples' money/guns or go to jail @$$hole!

The Calif Penal Code lists embezzlement as a crime .
