Default Ear Plugs USA

Welcome to EarPlugs USA

I just had two pairs of ear plugs made by Linda of Ear Plugs USA. I can highly recommend her services. You can find her at the gun shows in the southern California area. Her contact information is on her web site.

I'll echo that sentiment, I like mine a lot. I use em under regular muffs for indoor range use. Very comfy.

I've had several pairs by Linda and I visit her everytime I go to the gun show... She is extremely professional! I remember the first time I got ear plugs done, talking to Linda completely sold me to have it done by her, someone who knows the anatomy of the ear, as opposed to a non-ear specialist inject stuff into one's ear.

I understand that this year she can make them camoflouge for those of discriminating taste.

That way no one can tell you're wearing them. Don't set them down anywhere though.

I just got mine from Linda at the 1.26 gun show in Costa Mesa. It is really weird to have this huge syringe of crap shot in your ears, then sitting in them for 15 mins. She pulled them out and they were about 4 inches long.... All I could think was "How the hell am I ever going to get 4 inches of plug in my ear each time I wanted to shoot?"..... then .... "Do I ever want to shoot again?" Luckily when I picked them up she had shortened them to a reasonable size. The first couple of times they are uncomfortable, but after that they are the most awesome $45.00 that I have ever spent. -30db noise reduction means the sounds of the range are not dangerous to your hearing, but you can hear speech.

To those that have those expensive noise reduction headphones, tell me... how nice are they for the long gun? Every time I use a rifle/shotgun the earpeice will push off my ear and remove the protection that they provide - no problem with Linda's EarPlugs - they are AWESOME!!!

I'm going to try and make it to my 1st gun show in probably 20 years this weekend in Fresno. Maybe she travels that far, or someone that sells the same product the way she does. I'll certainly look for her.

I have a pair of the Peltor electronics and they are fine on a pistol range. Haven't had the opportunity to use them with a long gun.

I e-mailed Linda at EarPlugs USA and she said she will not be at the Fresno gun show. She will be at the Cow Palace on March 1-2.

Thanks for checking, WKC.

I WON'T be going to the Cow Palace. Oh well, I'll just go see what the Gun Shows have become since I went last.

For long gun you have to use the scalloped type, sort of like the Peltor "shotgunner" but the frame goes over your head instead of behind your neck. If you mistakenly use regular pistol electronic muffs then you will experience the muff being moved after each shot because of their size. I tend to double up on me audio protection.

I absolutely love the custom molds. I have 4 sets, three of which have stereo speakers imbedded within the mold. Great for motorcycle usage and I have even played music through them while at the range, under my electronic muffs. I can even tell if someone is calling in if plugged into a cell phone. Or not.

As you and I are contemporaries Mad Geek, I think it is safe to say that that will be a long time from now, IF he makes it.

Thanks,
