Ventura area dealers
I'm only familiar with Shooter's here in Oxnard, are there any other ranges or gun shops to go to around here?
And if so, what are your opinions on them? Or for Shooter's for that matter?!?!?!! I travel a lot, so I don't get out much!! Please help!

Simi Valley too far?
In Simi Valley there is a place called Fort Courage Armory. Good owner and he can get you want you want. Low costs for gun transfers and PPT sales and will ship for you as well.

I like Shooters' Paradise as a range, and most of the people there are cool. Their gun prices are pretty outrageous, though.
Fort Courage is a great place, and Tim is awesome. I highly recommend it if you can make it out that way. There's also Camarillo Shooters' Supply on Carmen. I haven't been able to make it in there during business hours, so I can't attest to their service or prices, but I thought I'd throw it in the mix as something a little closer to you.

Camarillo shooters supply if I remember correctly is mainly parts and reloading equip. they sell some guns but I believe they might be mainly used guns I could be wrong though. and shooters is way over priced and I really feel uncomfortable there. I feel like they kinda look down upon newbs or people who aren't that in tune with guns

Uncle Paul's Exchange 2057 Goodyear Ave, Unit "J" Ventura, Ca 93003 (805) 659-5000 Tues through Fri 2pm-7pm Sat 12pm-5pm CLOSED Sun & Mon They recently moved from their Scandia Ave location in East Ventura and Google hasn't caught up with that yet. They are on Goodyear now and OPEN for business. (even if Shooter's paradise tells you they aren't, they ARE open) If Paul's doesn't have what you want he can order it for you. Even in these times he can get stuff when others can't seem to get anything. I just picked up a new Ruger SP101 that he ordered in for me. No one else could get one (either that or they couldn't be bothered to order one on spec but I won't commit to buy unless I can hold it first).
