I am considering taking this class, but I have yet to contact them about attending. That permit would cover a lot of the states that I travel too, except Nevada. I need to make another trip there soon to get that permit!

I believe the instructor is one of the founding members on this site.

Yeah, I clicked the link in his sig to find the dates and classes available.

I would love to have the Nevada permit as well, but it is a lot easier to start with the Utah.

Sorry, little more might help.

Here is the link...
Alpha Safety Training - CCW Training
Cost of class is $100, permit fee is $59, plus you need a picture and some fingerprints. Total cost should be under $200. This would be for a Utah permit, not sure if the class is valid for Florida or not?

There is a link lower down the page for the dates, times, etc.

And yes...I was a good boy, I think Santa will let me carry this year (at least in some other states). Check is in the mail

Wait until the end of summer, Nevada will be honoring Utah, Florida or both.

When you take your OC Class, you can also get Utah and Florida. Which will also get you Nevada shortly.

You sound rather sure of this. It will be neat if you are correct.

My Nevada permit expires on my birthday this year. I will renew though because I do have a 2nd home there and I support the state for offering me the privilege to carry as a non-resident.

My Utah is good for several more years.

The bill has passed the House and Senate in Nevada and is off to the governor's desk. should be signed by the end of the week. They have until October to establish the reciprocity list.

Yes it is Buba! So, in deciding the name of my company I also thought about what the initials would be. Therefore "Alpha Safety Systems" was immediately out of the running.
