Default Official Results..

..of the match on the 20th; shouldn't have been too hard on myself. I was 5th of 11 in Marksman class. I'll be at the State Championship this weekend.

Default Friday morning..

..the day before the match I busted my knee when I went jogging; I got up Saturday morning in pain and with little rest/sleep. I was going to stay home but I decided to show up and try to do the best I could and determined to stay out of last place in CDP Marksman. I tried all year of 07 to move up to Marksman from Novice;and I finally did it this past January. I had never competed before nor had I handled a handgun before the summer of '06 when my home was burglarized; which was when my journey began to get a CCW. I was 11th out of 16 competitors in CDP Marksman; within 77.13% of the top shooter in class. My squad members kept telling me to sit down and not do any taping but I said I had to keep moving or my knee would stiffen up. They felt sorry for me as I hobbled in the stages;except for the 'elevator'[3.95 seconds] and a few others where I could just stand and shoot. I was invited to join "Splinter Cell" for the Postal Shoot and that was fun!!!But what was the greatest surprise was when I won the Custom SA Mil-Spec estimated at $3,000 at the drawing on Sunday afternoon. Made a lot of new friends too; BEFORE I WON;;;thank you Brett Nelson for the Bible Study Sunday morning and to my new bros in Christ; Peace be with you, and may we all have the strength and fortitude to be Peacemakers, not peacekeepers. Funny how God moves; I wasn't gonna show up because my chances of doing well went down the tubes when I busted out my knee; but I went there in faith, wanting to hear the Word.

my score=278.24[75] 11th of 16 in class and 104th of 123 overall.

Congrats on winning the pistol, it was built by Dave Lawver at Daves Metal Works in Covina California. He does excellent work.

it's been suggested that 'best offer' is less hassle than a raffle; I'll be picking it up next Monday, the 20th; start thinking of your 'best shot'[no trades]...

What do you want for it? You want cash or trade or what?
