Is private instruction worth it?

I highly recommend these classes. Start off with basic handgun and work yourself up to Advanced.

Perhaps someone will chime in with some great training classes in Nor Cal

Is this class instructor NRA certified? I ask because the Sheriff's office says I might be able to use this class for my CCW renewal if they are. If not, well, I'll just take the renewal class up here. Any class I can attend is always good.

By the way, if you want to sign up for the class at Mendocino College you need to fax a copy of your ccw permit to their admissions office to be able to register on the phone, otherwise you will have to register in person at the college. I had to fax them mine to be able to sign up for the class.
