Default Defensive Pistol Class in Napa

I am 2 days into the defensive pistol class and its great. I feel the quality of training is top notch. The trainers have lots of great experience including extensive military and LEO backgrounds, including SWAT in Richmond,CA and handling the departments tatical trainings.

The group in the class was doing well so we have been moving along further than the instructors anticipated. We were shooting on the move yesterday with combat reloads, and today well will be doing turns. We were on the range for 8 hours yesterday and will be out there all day today to. I feel that my shooting tecqniuqe has improved greatly.

It is always nice when the training is good. Even better when the classmates are well enough matched and experienced to have the training move along at a quick pace.

Glad you are having a valuable experience.

Day three was even better. Doing turns added alot to the mix. In total we shot around 600 rounds in 2 days. The instructors are starting a training school that will be doing 2 classes a month 6 months a year here in napa co.

Glad to hear it! I'm surprised - but happy - that there's the population in Napa to support it!

I think they'll be pulling from a lot of the outlying areas as far away as Sac and beyond. There's a real lack of good training up here. Well, the training piece can be argues probably, but the personalities are just BAD.

I pretty sure they had the client base but didn't have the facilities until now.
And for personalities these guys were great. Very serious but personable.

Sounds good. Please keep us posted on the frequency of the classes. I will enroll in these classes when they are available. How much are these classes? Thanks for the info.

I should add as a side note I have no personal interest financial or otherwise in this class. I am just happy to have this available for the first time in my area.

KimberDude-This class was done thru a local gun club at the cost was $200 for 3 days. It was a combo defensive pistol/cal ccw class. I signed for the email list so I will receive the schedule when they come up with it. If you want to pm me your email I can ask to have you put on there list.
