Default UH -- Utah CCW Class

Where: 1buba's place (Cameron Park - prox 30 miles east of downtown Sacramento)
What: Utah CCW and carnivore feed
When: Good question...

Please post to this thread if you're interested. We will work from there on the date...

Doc, how many do we need and would a Saturday work? We could do it one evening during the week, but I'm not sure folks could handle the round trip and the class... Please give us some dates to start playing with.

I'd be VERY interested if I can squirrel away the money... If we do it on a Saturday, it'd have to be in the morning as I'd have to be at work by 3 pm. I figure that the drive time would be about what it takes you to get to work... minus about 10 min or so.

Saturdays are great. I usually have them in Sac from 0900-1200. That would work with Akulahawk's schedule. It would also put us right at lunch time when done.

If we're doing a BBQ after the class, I would have no minimum as I would be happy to run the class with however many are there and cook up some dead animal flesh. I'll see if I have any elk left.

As to dates, the Saturdays that I have available are as follows:

June 03
June 16
June 23
June 30

May is pretty full for me.

What's the reasoning behind getting a Utah CCW? For traveling? Sorry for the dumb questions lately. I'm learning alot about CCW...

The Utah CCW license is recognized in many states outside of California and Utah. One license allow you to carry legally in quite a number of states. It's up there with Florida as far as the number of states you can carry in. Unfortunately, it does you no good in California per se.

I'm in. I'll have to check with my social secretary to see what weekends work best for me. I seem to think we have something planned for the last weekend in June.

AND Utah is a "shall issue" state, with no requirement for residency in Utah. You need to pass the BI, and take the training, then its usually a slam dunk to get the license.
