Well, glad I stumbled onto this thread. Don't wanna be too much of a mook by going to the "wrong place" (even that OT is like 4 minutes from me!) so I guess I'll be going to Evans too...My range time so far has been down in North County S.D., as I've been shooting w/a friend down there. Hope to get to Evans next week - look for the big retart with the "pimp gun" - my nickel Series 70 CC w/the polished flats!

I was there yesterday night as Greg was holding the CCW class. So many people!! I was shooting off a few rounds.

Well let us know when you want to head up to Evans! I am sure myself or a few other CalCCW people would love to meet and shoot with you! It seems nowdays almost anytime of any day there is a CalCCW member or friend of such in the house. I am serious!

FYI- I've had a similar experience at OT. Stopped going there long ago. They informed me that OT was a "slow fire range," I said that's not what the sign said and that I had purchased the slowest bullets I could find...

Just out of curiosity, what is the brass recovery policy at this range? For those of us who reload, this is important to know!

I believe their official policy is no picking up brass.
