OK, back on questionable topic -
As a civilian CCW, if I'm ever in an active shooter situation, I will do everything I can to avoid attention. The SUL posture says "HEY!! LOOK OVER HERE!!" both to the bad guy and the blue wave that we hope will arrive any moment. I would try to keep my weapon concealed until I had a shot. If I were to draw, I would try to follow the example of Michael Corleone leaving Louis' Italian Restaurant - pistol in the right hand, straight down next to my leg, finger off the trigger. |
