Default CCW Training in El Dorado?

Since it appears that there are a few El Dorado county people, any recommendations on who the better CCW instructors are for El Dorado county? (I have a page full of approved instructors from EDSO)

Whitewater,

I may get slapped a bit for this but here goes...

For general handgun training, I'm very particular with who i train with. I normally go to SoCal for that. However, for the CCW training - I would personally go with who can get it done for you the quickest. The caveat here would be - they must be SAFE and SANE.

The EDC CCW class is mostly safety and legal - not much taught in the line of skills. I would caution you, however, that MOST if not ALL of the instructors I've heard (or heard of) up here, have given questionable legal info at one time or another. This board is lucky to have several LE and legal experts that chime in from time to time.

Good luck!!!

Have you look at AWT Advance Weapon and Tactics taught by Walt Marshall in Richmond Ca. It would be about an hour and a half drive for you. Walt is good people.
