Default Review of Tactical Response Fighting Pistol Class in San Jose, CA

I learned a whole lot in this class. The skills are techniques are reality based and the drills will keep your mind engaged while you have to properly run the gun. The shooting on the move, from behind cover, and "up close in your face" have to be experienced to fully understand. Read all the literature you want about them but there is no replacement for actually doing it.

James and Aaron also have you set up so when you get a type 1 malfunction, you reflexively clear it and move on; you hardly have to think about it and the malfunction hardly slow you down when it happens.

Then there was also the lecture on when you can and cannot shoot, mindset, tactics, what to do and not to do... OODA loop.

Not only do we get to learn and do all that (plus lots more) in the class, I was extremely surprised that James and Aaron was able to cram all of it into 2 days!

I highly recommend this class to anyone of any training background or experience to attend. James and Aaron are great instructors. They have another class at the end of September 2007 in San Jose again if you are thinking about it.

I am looking forward to the advanced class.
