Default Shooting Clubs

Does anyone know of any groups up my way that get together and go shoo on a regular basis? I have done a few searches and can not find anything.

I've met folks from Merced, the city, at SacValley SacValley a couple of times... It's a great range and great people.

It is... I've heard that the 1k range is the best in the state. There is nothing around Sac that is nearly as nice. And not to slap my friends down south, but it is much nicer than Burro.

International Defensive Pistol Association www.uspsa.org. It is a bit farther than Sac Valley but try 5 Dogs in Bakersfield it's the best outdoor range in So. Cal. It's about 150 miles from you.

Lots of pistol bays and a good distance on the rifle range. They have some kind of clay games too.

There is a group that gets together in Mariposa regularly. Something like the 2nd Sunday of each month or so. They do IDPA or IPSC type of setups, but much higher round counts. I've also heard of some folks from "The Valley" South of Fresno, North of Bakersburg that have come up to Mariposa for M1 Garand and M1A competitions. If you're interested based on that, PM me and I'll get more details from the locals up here around Oakhurst.

No slap here, I agree with you buba! Sac is a really nice range. We really enjoyed our nor cal range day up there with you guys, hope we can do another one. Especially now that I won't drive the back roads to get to the range!
