I just read the "details" posted on Calguns.

They are incorrect in almost all aspects. Do not believe everything you read, especially on calguns.

As I said earlier, "I promise I will share what I can when I can".

Yes you know what is going on so we will wait to find out your first hand knowledge. I have no problem with correcting wrong information. But why not just say " especially on the internet" You are the one who is insulting the calguns members. This type of holy then tho is great for the anti's and should be called when ever it appears.

Jerry

Because it's not the whole internet that's incorrect, only certain sites.

Default Simpson Range is open again!!!

Simpson Range reopened yesterday!!

Physically there have been no changes to the range, however, there are now some restrictions on the Range Fan and the ranges at which you can shoot.

Previously it was possible to shoot a range fan of over 180 degrees from some areas of the firing line. While it is still safe to do so, it is no longer allowed. A range fan of 30 - 40 degrees, similar to most commercial ranges is now in place. Fortunately the only shooters that are affected by this restriction are the Cowboy Action and IPSC shooters.

Previously it was possible to shoot at targets in excess of 600 yards. The maximum range now permitted is 300 yards.

The most obvious changes are in the aggressive enforcement of the new safety rules which have been formalized and documented.

There is also a zero tolerance policy regarding operational rules such as presenting a current membership card prior to being allowed to shoot and limiting the number of guests to one per current SRA member shooting.

Some physical changes to the range will be occuring over the next few months as well as new operational rules regarding expectations and responsibilities of SRA Members and Range Masters.

Overall, however, the changes will be minimal as far as the average SRA Member is concerned.

I will continue to let you know whatever I can, when I can.

I appreciate your continued patience and support.

Thanks again,

Poogsdad
