The Gun
I love the feel of this gun in my hand. It's lightweight & the grip fills the palm of my hand. The safety & mag release are in comfortable reach for me, with an extreamely smooth trigger pull. It really feels like the weapon is an extension of my arm. Never used Heine sights before, but I adapted to them quickly. At the risk of sounding corny, aiming is almost as easy as pointing my finger.
Accuracy out of the box is good. From a bench rest, it hit an 8" steel plate 10 out of 10 times, at a distance of 40 meters. My off hand shots were considerably less accurate at that distance.

Going from my usual 9mm to 45APC didn't take long to get used to, and I give credit to the gun. The felt recoil is much lighter than expected in a 3 1/4" barrel. By the end of the 3 hour session, my shots were grouped on a 9" paper plate from 10 meters. Just 3 of 20 were off the plate, that's better than my 9mm Hi Point.
Both mags have stiff springs, although the speed loader supplied with them made loading very simple. I did have a "WTF" issue with them though. During the first 20 rounds in each mag, the magazines released out of the mag well when fired. A total of 7 times between both mags. I don't remember which one did it more. After those twenty rounds per mag, the problem resolved itself. I'm still calling Taurus on Monday. I'll pass on their response to you.
Field stripping w/o tools is quick and simple, which makes cleaning a breeze. Taurus supplies a bore brush, but I'm not too impressed with it.
My overall impression is positive, and I'm very happy with my choice of weapon and caliber.

I can't wait to take it back to the range.
The Holster
I discovered that my High Noon "Bare Asset", is comfortable. But I think I would prefer somthing with 2 belt clips or loops. It tends to move around too much when bending, stooping & sitting. The quality of workmanship & fit to the weapon is very good. I will buy from High Noon again.
