Funny, I was thinking about something like this a few days ago.

If you all would consider coming this far north, might I suggest the River Oaks range, run by the Safety First Shooting Association. The range is on a dairy outside Winton, which is near Atwater. I'm a relatively new member and have no experience with outside events, but they do have them.

It's the most beautiful outdoor range I've ever experienced. But to be fair, most of the ranges I'm familiar with are military. It's open 7 days per week, sunup to sundown, except for special events.

SFSA

If there's interest, I'll look into details.

BTW I just took a course from Dan Gray, Trident Firearms Academy, who uses River Oaks for all his classes that use real bullets. It was "Close Quarters Concealed Handgun." Superb class. I recommend it.

What say ye? (What's the plural of "ye?")

I'd go up there, that does look like a nice range, and I like saying the word "Stanislaus". Looks like an easy drive for the Sacto folks too.

"Stanislaus," eh? It does appear that SB is easily impressed.

He probably prefers Glocks, too…

I'll start a POLL and maybe we can get a round number. I'll link it here when I get it sorted out.

Here we go:
