I've had my Kimper Ultra CDP II about a month now and have fed it about 350 rounds so far.

Actually mine shoots remarkably tight provided I don't shoot with a limp wrist. If I do, the heavier (than I'm used to) trigger pulls puts rounds everywhere. A nice firm grip, nice easy squeeze on the trigger and it's on right on target.

Sorry, no pictures

Here are some shots taken with my Ultra CDP II during break in. I was shooting rounds 301-500 just to finish the breaking in process, not really trying for accuracy, maybe three seconds between shots.

20 rounds at 25 ft.

Trinity here on this Forum uses a CDP to shoot dimes off targets. She does it with the first shot each time.

Thanks for the plug CCWI

I have to admit - I've come a long way with my CDP accuracy though. First time I shot CCWI's, BonoVox told me that he knew he needed to jump rather than duck if he ever got between my target and me. A few hundred rounds later (most of them through AMS Mikes Ultra CDP) I can not only get the dimes - but send the rest of the mag through the dime sized hole.

As always - practice makes (closer to) perfect!

this was my 1st time shooting my CDP after it came back from going Full-Auto.

Since then. . .Practicing smooth trigger squeeze and my stance has tremendously improved my accuracy.

7 yards out

10 yards out

Is that a brass catcher you're wearing?

HAHA! It is indeed a newly approved by Evan's range brass catcher....although it didn't compare to the authentic brass catcher (complete with wrist attachment and net) that was sported by another gentleman that evening!

From last week at Evan's - I believe it was 7 yrds out (right AMS?) That's 2 mags - first was the bottom hole(s) second are the top.

I just hope I can shoot my new gun as well!

That is correct. I believe others stopped shooting because you made them look bad. (me included)

I find Groupings with the CDP to be very precise with WWB ammo and a bit more spread out with Blazer Brass.

HA! Well you'll notice I cropped out the head (mag 3) - there were 8 holes...would not look so good coming from the Dime Killer!

No pic, but, mine held very tight groups right out of the box. Are you "grouping" at all, or, all over the target?
