Thanks brian...

I'll let you know....can you PM your phone number again.

I had the surefire timer on my iphone...but its not very loud...I did that prior to the video.

I think I can save a lot of time just practicing in the house coming out of the holster and picking up that front sight without pulling the trigger when I can't make it out to the range.

Do you know if the Prado pistol range allows you to come out of holster? I know that the officers/deputy trainees practice there, but am not sure if they would allow us to do that. I was shooting up at Burro Canyon in Azusa in the video and I would have to spend $80 to get a private range to practice out of holster...so that would become too expensive.

I am pretty sure you can holster draw at prado and will find out today. It would be a great place to meet since its not far and its safe.

Looking at the vids I would have been worried about the people standing on both sides of you while shooting. Nobody was watching each other and caught up in what they were doing which worries me. Too many stupid things can happen and open shooting areas scare me.

PM coming in

What you're doing looks good, just more trigger time. Try drawing (unloaded in a safe direction) at home whenever you get the chance. Just a few minutes a day will help greatly. I use an airsoft but don't recall seeing one for a "J" frame.

I'm not so sure I would want to do that with a revolver. Sounds alittle too close cuz of the cylinder gap blow-by. I'll have to try it myself and see. I do recall shooting close to my face with a revolver and feeling powder residue (and maybe lead) getting blown back into my face... good thing I was wearing safety glasses.

Btw, great job with the vid.

Just my $0.02
