I know.. I think Glock should have called that part the "Disassembly Doo-Dad Tabby thingy".

Julie did a much better job with her post/explanation in the other thread. And I am glad in the end the issue was resolved.

You do have to pull down the slide block when you break a glock down. But what happend was the slide block fell out and I put it back in upside down and it forced the spring too far down and it became wedged. But after about an hour of messing with it I figured I'd go ahead and risk the warranty and pull out the spring and put it back in. So it's fixed now.

Read your comments and gave me a chuckle, actually laughter because of Taco and enchilada with rice and beans... my Dad who served the US Army for 30 years and retired as an Officer always said that laughter is good medicine. Thanks for the laughter El Gato --- stay safe, later --- dbltap

I hear that the owners of RIAs are happy with this gun, even though it is supposed to be a "cheapie". What do you think? Like an undervalued stock?

I've been looking at the Rock Island 3 inch cs parkerized 45acp and would like to actually see one, feel the pistol and shoot it . Anyone know where this can be done close to Santa Maria California?
