While practicing with my PT145, I noticed the 185 is a lot nicer (easier) to shoot than the 230. Since the hollow points are also 185, I figured it would also be a better practice ammo. Point of aim is about the same for my 185 reloads and the factory hollow points (carry ammo). It is an obviousely quicker recovery time/ faster shot. As they say any correct practice is good practice.
