Welcome Pastor! I am interested in your book, "The Christian and the Second Amendment", please do let us know when it gets published. So much is misunderstood about Christian belief vs. gun-nuttery, which I am a advocate of both.

Default Which Law Invalidates the CCW in OC?

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome. I need someone to help me understand how Sheriff Hutchens is allowed to supersede the Second Amendment and to be so selective about who gets and does not get a CCW. Obviously, there must be some ruling/law, but to date, no one has been able to tell me what the ruling is.
BTW, if you expect help from the OC Supervisors, don't waste your time. They are all too busy or in meetings or both.
My second book, "The Death Penalty on Trial. Taking a Life for a Life Taken," is available through Amazon. I hope to have "The Christian and the Second Amendment" done by September.
Thanks again for the warm welcome!

The story behind her ability to supersede the 2nd is called "May Issue" compared to 'Shall Issue". In California our laws give the issuing authority discretion through the May Issue clause.

Okay. So FL has a shall issue and CA has a may issue. How do we go about getting this changed. Is it possible to have a referendum and let the citizens vote?
