New To The Oc

Hello,
I am new to the OC and I was interested in obtaining a CCW, but wasn't sure what the process was for Orange County. Any help you can give me wouldbe great. Thank you!

I'm kind of new to the forum too. Everyone here is great. For information on the current state of chaos in OC as to CCW's read the other posts related to the new sheriff and the hornet's nest she has stirred up. They are not issuing CCW's at the moment in OC except for judges, reserves and DA's. Unless you fit into that category, good luck for the moment on getting anywhere with your application.

Once you are issued a CCW license, one of the site moderators can add the icon to your profile.

Well, if you're willing to move to another county, you could apply in San Bernardino. They accept personal protection as good cause. But if you live in OC, you have to apply here. You cannot apply in another county.

Yes as THE Gimper said you must apply in the county of your primary residence.

Hello KKBARLOW, the forum is full of good information and the SM/FMs have a wealth of knowledge. Please read the FAQs first as AMSMIke suggested. Most of the more common questions can be answered there.
