Default New member intro
Hi all,

I just joined and would like to introduce myself. I've been shooting off and on for 12 years, broke my shoulder, got divorced, then remarried after several years so now I'm back shooting. Not sure if that means something, any psychologists out there?

I've been working in Information Security for several years for a living. Basically, I protect companies from hackers and cyber crime.

Another hobby is training my Doberman in Schutzhund (protection, tracking, and obedience). My husband dragged me back into shooting and very glad to be back. I shoot a Colt Gold Cup .45 and it's just a blast. I used to do my own reloads and who knows, maybe I'll start doing that again.

Thanks and looking forward to learning a bunch from y'all.

Well, I'm also new here. i'll bid you a welcome since i'm still a fan of the Gold Cup.

I owned one for 20yrs, but hated the sharp rear sight. (and the tool needed to break it down... bla bla)

i think i still have my heavy spring (for the hot loads) and a couple of mags around here somewhere..???

anyway WELCOME.

Welcome, Infosecgirl. You'll find a strong .45 contingent here. I just took CCWI's intermediate class with a Colt National Match (the Pre-Gold Cup) and had a great time with it.
