Hi:
I am a retired Fed now working in a gun shop. What a dream job. getting paid to BS about guns. Only a few days a week but Am most active in the SASS and enjoy all the shooting sports, but must admit that most of those little clay thingies are safe from me. Hold CCW's from six states incl CA. Let NV lapse when they accepted Utah. Am really getting concerned about the various ammo laws now on the books or being considered. Ammo has more than doubled in a year. Condor "safe" ammo is $50 a box. Cast lead is pushing $100 a K. Shot is aproaching $70 a bag (if you can get it). What is going to happen when mail order supplies are shut off and laser engraving takes effect? We need ALL gunnies, no matter what they shoot, to get together and vote out all these Anti's. The recent 2nd Admendment win will have "NO" effect on ANY laws in CA without protracted fights. Rant over. ![]() |

Welcome to the forum Wrangler41!!!
I am also a retired fed. I am still a government employee, however. I am also an active cowboy shooter and shoot with the Mad River Rangers. CalCCW.com is a great place to share information and learn from people who actually do know what they are talking about. I am sure you have already looked through the FAQs and posts that inerested you. As a CCW holder, I know you have a lot to offer. As a retired fed I know you are far from new to CCW. The knowledge and experience you have aquired will be invaluable here. Thanks for registering. I look forward to your contributions. PM me if you would like to share some war stories. Thanks again, |
