CCW in Los Angeles? Roight!
Greetings...
....keep looking through these cereal boxes, hoping I'll find a CCW.... ....figure as long as I stay here in L.A. it may happen that way sooner than through the political system... Stay Safe and Keep Your Powder Dry... Paul 'nam vet....

Hi Paul, don't hold your breath while looking through those cereal boxes.
 Best of luck to you with the process however. I'm new around here too but have already learned A LOT.'Nam vet? What branch? Thanks for your service. My husband and I are both Army vets. But, Vietnam was well before my time

We've had a couple of members get a CCW from LA. It ain't easy, as you've already figured out.

I spent the day on Thursday on my day job with a co-worker out in Victorville. The conversation turned to guns it turned out he has an LA CCW. Neither of us were carrying (rules of our daytime employers) but I saw the permit.
His cause was very solid, business based, but not extraordinary. He wasn't politically connected or wealthy, just upper middle class. It can happen.

...actually, no....since it seems to be so clear the Sheriff of L.A. is not leaning in that direction. I understood that at one time the Culver City CofP was giving them out, several years ago...could not determine if this was true or not....
