Default New South Orange County Member and New CCW Holder

Hello All:

Just wanted to check-in and say thanks for all the great information.

Started the process in early March, OCSD interview in early April, class with CCWInstructor in May, and successful issuance this week.

My weapon...Kimber Ultra CDP II (now two weeks old)...I thought this was a requirement to be a part of this website.

Again, the information here is great and very helpful.

PS - I don't know if anybody wants my political views on my first post, but I sent a letter of support for Jack Anderson to my Supervisor today.

Fight On!

That's great news . . . congrats on your achievement. Now comes the experimenting stage and the holster buying stage, the new style shirt stage and the how should I move stage . . . the members will be helpful in this area, they've already gone down the path that you will.

Welcome aboard Trojan!!!

We are glad you chose to join us. Another person with a CCW willing to share experiences and knowledge with others and contribute to the success of others is always welcome.

Another CCW is another voice for us toward our goal of increasing CCW issuance throughout the state. You live in a good county with a lot of good people causing a lot of good things to happen.

Though I am not a resident of Orange County, I believe that what happens in your neck of the woods can eventually effect what happens in mine.

It sounds like you did your homework and got hooked up with the right folks early.

Good choice of firearm, Kimber Ultra CDP II. I have a Custom CDP II and a Stainless Ultra Carry II, both as a result of this website. While having a Kimber is not a requirement to be a part of CalCCW.com many members eventually become part of the Kimber Club when they have been around for a while.

Thanks again for joining the forum, we look forward to your insights and contributions.

Welcome aboard and congrats on your successful CCW endeavor. One permit at a time. You trained with the right folks.

You need to get your 'rice paper' icon from calccw03.

Welcome To CalCCW, Trojan.

You indeed pick a great place to glean information from and the best trainer in OC, or is it "In All Of The Southland"? Either way, you've done well.

Great to have you join us.

Congrats, and welcome to our site! No, a Kimber is not a prerequisite to joining the site... but it doesn't hurt

Seriously, it's a very nice pistol and although I normally shoot GLOCK and Springfield (not the XD), I'm a Kimber Convert that just can't afford it!!!!!

Welcome again to our site! PM CalCCW03 for adding the CCW icon if you'd like it!

Can't argue with a quote like that and I fully agree.
