Oh yeah. What he said.

Hey thanks to all for the warm welcome!

Cool revolvers. Hopefully they will go on your permit.

Hey don't be sneaky, just go get one that matches hers.

Welcome to CalCCW, and congratulations on obtaining your license. As you have probably noticed, there is a lot of give and take here on what is the perfect carry weapon, and that is one of the most enjoyable aspects of this forum. From the picture you included above, it looks like you are pretty well armed - nice work on the grips and leather!

Hey, thanks for kind words. Yeah, those N frames are pretty...heavy that is! I'm seriously thinking of getting one the M&P compacts, probably a 9mm. Which is odd, considering I was one those who thought the only true caliber is one that starts with a 4 and ends with a 5. Funny, how ones opinon changes when you start hanging stuff off your belt.

Default Do tell us about your process

Solo3937;

Welcome. Thanks for logging in. Something great about this site is it gives and receives information from an active membership and some incredible subject matter experts.

When you get time, try to post your process for your CCW, timeline, experiences with officials, advice on what questions to be prepared for, your county's approved CCW courses, etc. We never post good causes here, ever, but any insight into your County's CCW program will help your neighbors navigate it also.

Cheers,

Ptbarnacle

CCWInstructor, a true guru here on CalCCW, calls the 9mm a 45 set on stun.

Well, the voices in my head tell me that I should buy a Kimber myself... but then reality sets in and I remember that I can't get one just yet.

Anyway, solo... those are some very nice looking revolvers. Kind of makes me wish I had some too. Congrats on getting the rice paper and as to the help, that's what we're here for. Glad you were able to get some good info from us!
