Stanislaus county seems to be a better place to apply than San Joaquin county, if you have the option. I think it depends on where the post office thinks your 'official' address is.

Good luck!

Oakdale is the official address which of course is Stanislaus county. we just happen to be on the other side of the county line, but not much, only about 1/4 mile so everything is still Oakdale and Stanislaus for us.....wierd i know

Default How's it coming along..

...djfordman, how's the CCW process coming along?
I'm a bail agent and fugitive recovery here in StanCo,
modesto to be exact.

I haven't turned in my app yet. I guess i'm nervous.

Cass.

djfordman, your Oakdale postal address won't make any difference. If you live in San Joaquin County, that's the direction you'll have to go, barring a good reason to go to Stanco, which I hope you have. Having your place of employment in Stanco will help, but I suspect that you'll have some convincing to do if that's the route you have to go. Same with Oakdale City. You don't live in the city limits, so you're not in the CoP's jurisdiction.

Based on the war stories, Stanco is a lot better than San Joaquin. Best of luck.

XmustanguyX, I'm PM'ing you.
