Default MLH says hello

Hi all. Followed a link at Calguns to this site to learn more on California CCW. I presently have both Florida and Utah permits. Approximately 15 years ago when I moved into my County of Riverside ( I live in Riverside County ) I had a FFL dealers license. I went in for a CCW interview and was told to wait a year or so and re-apply. Not that they were turning me down, only they wanted me live in the county longer. Never re-applied and I no longer have the 01 FFL but would still like to get a CalCCW.
I have gone through 3 of Massad Ayoobs courses including LFI-1 in the past and look forward to more training from others. NRA lifemember as well.
Maybe more than you wanted to hear from me so I'm off to look through your forum.
Thanks again,
MLH

A warm welcome and best of luck in your endeavor. A well thought out GC will be your best ally. There should be help on this down the line.

They do not factor in your firerms experience. They look at your need to get a CCW. Bottom line, what puts you at more risk than the average citizen.

I only listed what training I had in the past to introduce myself. Not to imply it would constitute a need.
Gregg I was justing looking over your training website and asking my son (age 20) if he'd like to join me in it since all are required to start in your basic class. That would work great for both of us. I, as it's been a few years since I have practiced and him since it will be his first formal introduction to handgun training. He is presently a 2nd year student at UCI with a major in Criminology, Law and Society. Hopefully he'll be able to schedule time to do it May 06. I'll know more later.
