New From San Diego
I am very interested in learning more on CCW and if there is any way a person can get a license to carry in San Diego, considering the Sheriff's position. I am a member of EF&G, NRA and visit several other shooting ranges in the county at least once a week. I enjoy shooting my Springfield 1911 .45 auto, my little .380 and a ruger GP100 .357 revolver. I also heard the tail end of a conversation about CCW on Hedgecock's show yesterday, but I missed most of it but the web site, so here I am! I will be 60 years old this December and I am well trained in the use of hand guns. I got this training so I can protect my family, not only at home but anywhere. Now it appears I am not able to do this legally. Is this still America? !!
I really hope this site will help make a difference. I am open to any ideas. Thanks, Howard Hough

Welcome to the site. Yes, San Diego is far from the best county for CCW issuance, but with enough people raising CCW awareness and demanding fairness in issuance, the system will have no choice but to change for the better.
