Hello my CalCCW Friends!
Hello my friends!
It is always good to be in company with those of the same interest. Especially when it comes to the protection and defense of family, friends and our fellow citizens in our communities and abroad. My name is Dave, 46 years young and I am married with children. I am a Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service. I have been serving the public for aproximately 20yrs. and I have enjoyed every minute, hour, day, week, year of delivering the US Mails and being part of lives of those I serve. I purchase my first handgun about 5 years ago(Glock 19) because I felt it my duty to be prepared for the defense of my family, if the time called for. In this day and age, post 911, we never know when that time my be upon us and I believe the time is now for us to be properly trained for such a time. I am a student of FRONTSIGHT FIREARMS Front Sight Firearms Training Institute I am a student because; so that I can learn and gain the knowledge of how to use my firearms to the fullest competence and understand the moral and ethical decisions on the use of deadly force, color code of mental awareness etc. and all that is involve obtaining a CCW. I would like to Thank You all for allowing me to be a Part Of You, here on Calccw, and for all the knowledge and experience I will receive and you will/have shared with others here on this forum. Welcome, Dave! If you could put your county in your profile it will help in the future if you have any questions as CCW matters depend largely on what county one resides in. Thanks!

Welcome aboard Dave! My dad has been a postal worker his entire life. He loves it. He's a supervisor now, but stayed a carrier most of his career.
Good job on the training! Most people spend large amounts of money buying the tools, but don't get out to get the training. CCWI runs a great facility in SoCal. Check him out!
