Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I have done a site search of Solano, and what I have seen, it does not look good for me to get a CCW. Would you be able to go to the city in which you reside to get a CCW rather than the Solano County Sherrif?

I want this for two reasons:

1. Weight. It is very light and only weighs 31oz without a mag.
2. Concealed carry (hopefully someday). The gun is only a four incher.

Yeah, the only advice I have is that if you want the best holster for that gun, order it now, wait times are so long that you may get it by summer if you are lucky. Milt Sparks VM2

Only if your local Chief of Police has not "Declared G" (i.e. defers all CCW issuance to the Sheriff). I don't believe there are any Police Chiefs in Solano County who issue, but you can call your PD and ask.
