Default Hello

Hi all,
I just joined and thought I'd say Hi.
Hi.
Okay thats over with now I'd like to say thanks for putting together this site for people like us that want to be able to get the info we need to get thru the paper work for our CCW's.
I have not started my paperwork yet as I'm waiting for my house to be completed in the San Berdo mountains, I have had a house there for 5 years and am in the middle or a rebuild, should be done this spring, but you know contractors.
Currently I live in LA county so I'm not even going to try it here.
Anyway I'll be reading up and getting jealous of those that are getting theirs.
I'm also a member of calguns.net which has some good stuff and lots of like minded people there.
Enjoy

Welcome liketoshoot.

If you are going to be moving to that house in San Berdo, you will be in a much more friendly CCW area. Good luck.

What, that don't sound like fun at all. LOL

Thanks all for the welcome.
I do like to shoot and go to the range about 3 times a month, I have a few guns and just picked up a new S&W 329PD with a 4" barrel, This is a nice piece little heavy on the recoil but I'll get use to it, my other favorite to shoot is my Sig 226 in .40cal, I also have a few .357's and 9MM.
It's nice to find a place to chat about guns and maybe get together and shoot.
Again thanks for the welcome.

Welcome liketoshoot.

If you're looking for folks to shoot with, with a social atmosphere surrounding it, or just a place to hang out, post your comments and soak up other experiences, BOY! Have found a place!

Glad you're staying on top of the changes from LA County to your new residence. Best wishes in the pursuit of both.

Hello from the other end of the state (Humboldt County) liketoshoot. I used to ride my motorcycle (Honda 750) up the hill from Riverside County up to Lake Arrowhead over to Big Bear then Running Springs back down to 29 Palms (or vice versa) most summer weekends over 20+ years ago. I can't imagine what Big Bear is like population wise now! I remember when they were putting in the very 1st Safeway there - 1980'ish I think.....

You will have to choose what three weapons you are gonna carry? Gotta' make that very important decision, before you even start the process. I like to use the 9mm parabellum (9X19mm), 7.62X25mm Tokarev, and Colt .45 a.c.p. calibers myself.

Sorry, it seems my Tour Guide Barbie skills are a bit Rusty...

In any case, you've got no shortage of folks who will be more than happy to chat about guns & give advice whenever its needed.
