New Member & CCW Wannabe
I've been considering applying for a CCW for a number of years now and have finally decided to get serious. I live in Fresno County which I understand to be pretty reasonable about granting permits. I should not have any problem with the good moral character and legal background part, but I'm a little worried about good cause.
There have been some good posts about letters of reference and the desirabillity of a written statement to go along with the interview. Is there anyone out there that would be willing to take a look at my written justification? Thanks Mike

You should PM CCWInstructor or look up his name under member list and email him. You will go straight to the Subject Matter Expert that way! Good luck and please post your experience about applying for a CCW up in Fresno!

This forum is a great resource also... Fresno is different than OC but it is also different than Tulare and Kern.. you just want to make sure you have your ducks in a row before you take the shot... Welcome

Welcome, jmnardo. There are a lot of good resources here to help you through the process, beginning with the FAQ section.
From what I've been able to discover, Fresno County is not as difficult to get approval as it has been in the past. Good luck and know that we are all pulling for you.
