Default First Step....
Finally took the first step in writting the request letter to chino pd. Waiting for the rejection to start the process w/ the sheriff. Keeping fingers crossed and hopes high.

Default keep it all..
above the table and you have a good chance of getting your permit in this county. It takes awhile, but it's all worth the wait, and they are very professional.

Yeah I cant wait. I just want that extra "insurance" when Im out and about.

..we all; or most of us have, car insurance, home insurance, business insurance, life insurance, etc,etc; why not "stay alive insurance".

Dude, you are in San Brdo County. You don't need any help/suggestions. Your GC is personal protection and unless you are in a prohibited class or have some skeleton in your closet you should be GTG. Just get to the Sheriff's Office and pick up the application. (You SHOULD HAVE done that while you were waiting for the denial letter from Chino ) Now git'r done!

Help me understand. Why a letter to PD first with expected denial? Is this some requirement before going to the county? Amazing, this dizzying patchwork of "laws" we have to navigate. Glad I'm in an essentially shall issue county.
