Welcome to the forum from a Northern neighbor.
![]() Don't have specific information from Tulare County, but there is a good cross-section of the state here. I'm sure someone will chime in.

I have applied in Tulare County as well. I didn't feel that I had a strong good cause other than personal/family protection, but tried to relate the need for a ccw while out and about during off-work hours due to the nature of my work. Lots of people have them here, so they can't be too hard to get.

Lots of people who are self employed have good cause in Tulare... Lots...there are lots of people in Tulare who have permits period! I know many people there who have permits and since you are self-employed, I am sure you could come up with an honest statement that would float by the sheriff. This is especially true if you must deliver product, pick up equipment, service equipment, collect check/rents etc. If you private message me with your email, I will send you a copy of a recent CRPA newsletter article on the good cause. It is excellant. At one time, Tulare had more permits per capita than Kern...
