Hello to all.


I just learned of calccw.com and I have been on this forum for a few hours. Already have learned a tremendous amount that i was previously unaware of. I have an interview with Melissa this Thursday and I sent an email to Greg a few min ago about training courses.

I am looking forward to learning more and giving my experience so others can gain.

I am new to this forum, but not to forums in general


So far I have ready for my interview:
-application filled out (except part 7 of course)
-2 copies typed out of my "for good cause" statement
-2 letters of recomendation
-copy of CDL
-copy of business permit

Sound like you have all the bases covered. Since you are going to be conversing with CCWI, make sure you run your GC by him for review.

I have my Edison bill for my business and my home. forgot to mention that.

Indeed! You really should at least have CCWI look over your Good Cause Statement. He's got a pretty good idea about what works for Orange County.

Great news. Only jumped on it because I remember my first stab at what I "thought" was a perfect GC statement. I have Good Cause, but did not know, "sounded great to me at the time LOL", how to put it in LEO language. CCWI does.

Usually means cut endless fat and throw away. Hand over steak!

I have everything ready to go and organized. I will be seeing Melissa tomorrow for my interview. I has to post pone it from last week due to my schedule.
