ANOTHER UPDATE!

Just got back from my livescan. The nice lady who took my prints told me it takes 2-3 days for DOJ to send results back then it can take 1-2 weeks for OCSD to process. Then I'm off to CCWI's classes (the exciting part of the whole proccess).

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

1-10-2008 I got a message from Daisy saying my livescan came back. I just need to finish my CCW 16-hour class and have my weapons checked at the amroury. Then I make a phone call to the PSD to bring them all my completed tasks.

Its been 1 month since i had the initial interview. This process has far exceeeded my expectations on the timeline. Everything was handled very smoothly and in an effective timely manner.

its a waiting game, super auto CDP went back to Kimber, need to wait for that to come back. 1-23-08 is my DROS day for my Ultra Raptor II, then after that I will be able to qualify my 2 CCW guns.

I owe a lot of thanks to everyone here. I have learned more on this forum and from you guys/gals than I ever did trying to search the internet for answers.

i really owe a BIG thanks "A GUY", every question I had which i couldn't find the answer to, he has answered it; whether it was during the day or at 1am. That is what I call dedication to the CCW community.

Congratulations! You're almost there, Mike.

I'm glad to live where I do where the process is so much less. I can see some benefit to some of the additional steps they have you guys go through, but I liked my Training, Application Processing Appointment and Approval Call all being done in a 4 week period.

Hint: Threads overhead represents an insignificant amount of storage. Don't worry about creating a new one. they don't cost much!
