New From Riverside County
just wanted to stop in and say hello. i am obviously new nere, but i am looking forward to some very good advice on trying to get my concealed carry permit.

by the way, i found this site via the north american hunting club. i am also a member of the nra and tnusa.
just thought i'd add that. question. i kinda looked around the site, and i noticed that in order to get a ccw, you have to have good cause. what constitutes good cause?

Welcome to the site. There is plenty to learn and the folks to learn it from can be found right here.
GC (good cause) is something besides self defense that sets you aside from the general population. Some examples: Doctor with class III drugs, Jeweler carrying expensive product, business owner making large cash deposits, etc. There are more, but that is a sampling. You need to figure out what your personal reasons are to help the issuing authorities decide you have a reasonable need for self protection over and above the average citizen. Think hard and make notes about your ideas. When you are ready the folks here will be more than happy to assist in your presentation of need. Good luck and again Welcome aboard. spc
