Default Introduction
Hello to all fellow firearms enthusiasts.

Recently found this forum while snooping around the net. Appreciate the knowledge and sharing in this forum and look forward to participating.

I am a law school student in my final year with many years in the legal field. I have applied for my ccw in tulare county and waiting for the response. My carry weapon is a glock 23.

Looks like there are a few of us on here from Tulare County. I threw in my app last week. Interesting process; the 'mug shot' was interesting.

Law student?......I thought you guys did not have a life while going to law school. I have a daughter who is a lawyer and she was reading 24/7 when going to law school.

Yup, thats pretty much the case. I try to make a point, for sanity's sake, to get away from the books every now and then though.

I dropped off my app about 2 months ago, I called a week ago or so and they said they were just waiting for the fbi background check to come back. I'll check back in a week or so if I don't hear anything by then. Good luck nomustache!

Buddy of mine had his issued in just over a month. Another reported just a few weeks. I thought the livescan would speed things up. Let me know what they tell you when/if you call.
Good luck with law school and the bar Panhead. been there myself a few years ago.
