Tahoe says hello

Hi All.
I live up at Tahoe, El Dorado County, and have been thinking about applying for CCW for quite a few years. I think my county is one of those borderline issue places. I am looking forward to reading about other's trials and tribulations, hopefully I will get lots of helpful advice. I found this site from THR forum, it looks like the founders have put a lot of work into it, good luck all.

Snowdiver -

In El Dorado County, if you live in So. Lake Tahoe, you have to apply there first. I'm not sure what they are like. You may still want help with your good cause (from some of the folks here)

For the most part, however, the EDC sheriff is "may issue". If you have what they concider good cause, you are in. The things they consider good cause at this point are:

1) Owner or GM position (hire/fire, etc) of a business
2) Carry large amounts of cash
3) Carry that cash at odd hours.


DO NOT shoot yourself in the foot and submit blindly. Please PM me, if you would like, and let me know at what stage you are in the process.
