Approval Letter in the mail – Fresno County
Well the title pretty much says it but I wanted to update my progress and give Fresno County some more positive feedback! The process so far is very friendly and everyone at the sheriff’s department have been wonderful. From the lady who answered the phone and all of my questions to the gentleman who did my interview.
I kind of expected to be treated like I was a burden and expected my interview to be more like an interrogation but that was not the case. Although they are very busy down there it only took a week to get my letter back! Now I need to decide where to take my class…..

 I took my class at The Range Pistol Club - Fresno, California here in Fresno as was pleased with the quality & value of the class.

Sheriff Mimms is "The Man" (figuratively speaking of course  ). Get the training done quick so you can get you hands on the rice paper ASAP!

A little update.... I have a training course scheduled for this weekend! I decided to wait until I was able to purchase another firearm to put on my CCW before going to class. Last Tuesday I picked up my new CW9 so now it is time for training!
I ended up scheduling with a local guy.... Is it ok to say who? It wasn’t the range though. Not that I have anything against the range but their Saturday class was last weekend (Wife wasn’t feeling well) and I can’t make the week night courses.  Their next weekend course isn’t for another 3 weeks so I decided to go with a gentleman that a friend of mine went through. Very nice guy on the phone and was very accommodating.
