Hmmmmmm
Hello, I am def a nub. I recently purchased my first gun at the beginning of the year. my father and his friends have been building and shooting since i was a pup. A good friend of mine introduced me to your site, and that i thank him for. I have yet to purchase my first handgun i own 2 rifles atm a 22 and a m91/30 both synthetic stocks and a nice scope on the 91/30. I hope to bring something to the community and always accept advise. thats it for now.

 Good to have you with us. Still no pistol yet, huh? Well do you have your eye on something? What are you looking for in a pistol? Will you be applying for CCW? (silly question since you joined us here?) Lastly, to whom can we give credit for steering you in our direction? Hope you enjoy the forums. There are a lot of good folks on here to help with tips and advice. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress towards CCW. Keith

cool thanks for the support
ty for all the reponses to my who is post. you all seem like a friendly bunch. I do not go to iron sights......they dont let me shoot my rifle there
 i did just get back from a trip to calico desert and had a chance to "try out" a few handguns i liked the S&W 952 9mm was pretty fun to shoot and felt good. so did the S&W 45. I shot a few of the "cheapies" hi-point 9mm and Taurus 9mm like the Taurus and think it will probably be my first purchase, due to the low cost. eventually ill upgrade to the S&W 45 once my budget allows. answer to your question keith i do plan on getting a ccw. my reasoning is fairly unorthodox so a buddy of mine told me about your sight and all the useful info. ggt talk to you all later and thanks again for the hellos!!!
